Popup Events & Galleries
This is a very active committee that plans and implements events for artists. These events are scheduled throughout the year in and around the island.
We partner with local businesses to host many of these special venues.

* Work with host businesses for installation of the gallery and/or event

Art in the Yard
This is the IAC's flagship annual event.
Committee members responsibilities:
* Set dates and times for the annual event
* Establish criterial for artist applications and selection
* Establish fees and sponsorship levels
* Solicit sponsors
* Recruit volunteers to work the event
* Work with IAC Marketing team to market the event
* Manage registrat

The committee meets 3rd Thursdays of the month at 11:00 am, typically at Island Bagel

Socials
IAC Socials are planned for each month. Some of the socials are open to the public and members are asked to bring friends to introduce them to the IAC.
Some of the socials are Members Only.

Each year we hold a major Fund Raising event and smaller ones throughout the year.
These events are critical for the IAC to raise funds that support our programs.

General Member Meetings
The Island Arts Council General Membership Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of every other from 5:00 to 6:30pm.
A Social is held from 5 to 5:30, followed by IAC updates.
Members and people interested in joining are welcome to attend.
The agenda usually includes updates from each committee and discussions about new events/programs to add
