The Council helps artists and art organizations to start new programs and events on the island. The Island Arts Council provides funding support for the Island Arts Festival, grants to local schools to support their arts programs, financial and structural support for local organizations and individuals who are seeking to hold events or start up new arts and culture programs for our community.
